African cloth pillows and throws caught my eye from the first time a merchant from Mali showed me these beauties. They are handmade by African tribes using an unique ritual dying the textiles with mud and leaves. Then they weave the cotton cloth in narrow strips and sew them together.
MATERIAL: African cloth on front, natural colored linen blend fabric on back.
COLOR: black and white.
SIZE: 60x40 cm, 24x16 inches
CONDITION: Vintage piece in excelent conditions, but please note that it could have some little irregularities which are an inherent part of the beautiful character of these blankets.
CARE: dry clean or set the washing machine to wash and rinse on cold water.

Desde la primera vez que un comerciante procedente de Mali me enseñó estos tejidos africanos me enamoré de ellos. Estos almohadones y cubiertas tejidas a mano por tribus en Africa se tiñen con lodo y hojas naturales siguiendo todo un ritual conservado durante años. Después los retales de algodón se unen y cosen para crear almohadones o mantas de distintos tamaños.
MATERIAL: tela africana en la parte frontal y una mezcla de lino en la parte posterior.
COLOR: blanco y negro.
TAMAÑO: 60x40 cm, 24x16 inches
CONDICION: Pieza vintage en excelentes condiciones, debido a que se trata de una pieza antigua puede presentar alguna pequeña irregularidad que la hace todavía más bella.
CUIDADO: limpieza en seco o a máquina con agua fría.
