Tamegroute is a small village in the south of Morocco well know by its beautiful pottery. Every piece is made following ancient glaze techniques using only manganese, cooper and silicon to obtain this unique color. They are baked in earth ovens, stacked together wich arise little cracks making them even more beautiful. That’s why they are so unique and have an irresistible charm.

Tamegroute es un pueblo muy pequeño al sur de Marruecos conocido por su cerámica. Cada pieza se elabora con técnicas de esmaltado antiguas que han permanecido intactas al paso del tiempo. Los alfareros tan sólo usan una mezcla de manganeso, cobre y silicio para conseguir el color verde característico de estas piezas y las cuecen en hornos de barro apiladas lo que provoca pequeñas grietas e imperfecciones haciendo estas piezas aún más bellas y con un encanto irresistible.
