Krivarics Ditta a talented interior designer who also writes a blog you shouldn't miss, otthonkommando, decided that her living room needed a renovation. Her vision was bringing to life an empty space into a cozy and boho living room.
Take a home tour of the finished space and take note of the personal details that made the cut! She started from a blank space. Her main criteria was to have a warm and also child friendly living. She had many decissions to take but she was sure that a pleasant beni ouarain rug could not be missing.
She fell in love with a beautiful monochromatic tribal rug hand woven in the Atlas Mountains. I’m also obsessed with these vintage gems and this is nothing new. Indeed, Beni Ouarain rugs are everywhere in Pinterest, in magazines and in the stylists homes. From nordic homes to boho and jungalow interiors.
They are perfect for several kind of styles. Their neutral color palette works well with other neutrals but also with vibrant tones. They are a perfect way to warm up a room and to add a little texture with their geometric pattern and soft wool.

Krivarics Ditta es una diseñadora de interiores afincada en Hungría que además escribe un blog que no te puedes perder, Otthonkommando. Ditta contactó conmigo porque estaba inmersa en el proceso de renovación de su propia casa. Su prioridad era el salón, deseaba un espacio acogedor, cálido y en el que los niños pudieran jugar. Muchas decisiones estaban en el aire pero tenía claro que una gustosa alfombra Beni Ouarain no podía faltar.
Se enamoró de una preciosa alfombra tribal tejida de forma artesanal en las montañas del Atlas. Tras varios mails e intercambios de fotografías, la alfombra elegida es la que ves en las fotografías.
Es una maravilla! Aún recuerdo la suavidad de la lana. Además su paleta neutra de colores combina perfecta con otros colores también neutros o con colores más vibrantes. Aportan calidez a cualquier espacio y también añaden textura gracias a su patrones geométricos y al tacto de la lana natural anudada.
