Who could resist to the softness of cactus silk? Sometimes called Vegetable or SabraSilk, it is a luxurious fabric made from the Saharan Aloe Vera Cactus.

The process for making Sabra Silk has been the same for centuries. The spiky leaves from the cactus are crushed and soaked in wáter to separate the fibres and then they are whased, dried and spun to make the silk threads.
